Antoine Skaff - Owner/Dentist, Antoine Skaff Family Dentistry
The recipient of a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Dr. Antoine E. Skaff owns and works at a busy family dentistry practice in Kanawha City, a neighborhood of Charleston, West Virginia. Dr. Skaff built the practice from the ground up, and today he and his staff care for as many as 40 patients, including children of all ages, each day. During his free time, Dr. Skaff enjoys a number of recreational activities, such as running, playing tennis, and gardening.
Before earning his DDS and founding his practice, Dr. Antoine Skaff received undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He worked for several years as a civil engineer in the public sector prior to enrolling in dentistry school, where he held a place on the dean’s list throughout his four years of schooling. In 1990, Dr. Skaff founded his current practice. He leads a staff with specialty training in providing dental care in a comfortable, non-threatening manner. In addition, he and his team maintain expertise in instilling in their younger patients the importance of proper brushing and flossing at home. Dr. Skaff also provides emergency care for cases of severe toothaches, permanent teeth that have been knocked out, chipped, or fractured, and cut or bitten tongues, cheeks, or lips.
Outside of the office, Dr. Antoine E. Skaff engages in continuing education and networking with the American Dental Association and the West Virginia Dental Association. He and his wife and four children live in Kanawha City and attend St. George Orthodox Church in Charleston. Dr. Skaff also contributes to medical nonprofits, among them the American Heart Association.
